ISSUE VI: MENTAL HEALTH SIX FEET APART

For issue VI of Highlander's center spread, I worked as the editor and contributed to the concept, layout, and design. This issue's theme was mental health during quarantine, so we wanted the design to properly display the issue while also tying in a more positive aspect of hope and support for others. Especially during the mental health month of May, it was important to ensure a wide range of perspectives on the issue, from counselors to students and beyond.

ISSUE IV: FINDING POSITIVITY IN COVID-19

For issue IV of Highlander's center spread, I worked as the editor and contributed to the concept, layout, and design. In this case, we wanted to reflect on the positive aspects of students' past year of quarantine. From social improvements, to healing nature and finding new hobbies, I worked with the writers and design to highlight a new sense of optimism.
